Red mud flowing in from the Sai River flooded the Tham Pha Chom community in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province after passing through a strong current 5 days ago. Although the water level has started to recede, the damage left behind after the water receded left some homeowners unable to hold back tears. The mud almost reached the roof and entered the houses up to the second floor. The houses were almost 100% damaged.
